Archbishop Metropolitan Doyle Volentine: A Global Servant Leader in Faith and Humanitarian Outreach

Archbishop Metropolitan Doyle Volentine serves as a senior member of the College of Bishops for The International Christian Church Network (TICCN). Throughout his life and ministry, he has exemplified what it means to be both a servant of Christ and a humanitarian leader. Alongside his late wife, Reverend Carolyn Volentine, he spent decades impacting lives through church planting, community empowerment, education, authorship, and compassionate global missions.

Archbishop Volentine is the founder of God’s Peace Ministry, Inc., which partners with churches and organizations across the globe to provide spiritual leadership, educational training, and humanitarian support. Whether through preaching, seminar leadership, or direct outreach to underserved communities, his ministry has always embraced the Gospel in both word and compassionate action.

Education and Public Service

Archbishop Volentine is a graduate of Northwestern State University with a B.A. in Government. His post-graduate studies include certifications in Education, Criminal Justice, and Law Enforcement from Northeast Louisiana University, as well as Pastoral Studies through Candler School of Theology at Millsaps College, an extension of Emory University. He holds both an M.Div. and Doctor of Theology (D.Th.) from All Nations Seminary, Texas.

Before entering full-time ministry, Archbishop Volentine served the State of Louisiana for 30 years in Civil Service, a tenure that shaped his deep understanding of social systems and public welfare. This foundation has informed his holistic approach to ministry, blending faith with practical care and justice advocacy.

Ministry Rooted in Justice, Healing, and Community Development

His ministerial career began in the United Methodist Church, where he served as Pastor in several congregations across Louisiana. Alongside his wife, he co-pastored churches in Gueydan and Kaplan, and led Basile UMC. Even prior to ordination, he was actively involved in lay leadership, notably serving as co-director of Louisiana Aldersgate Renewal Ministries, a Spirit-filled ministry focused on revitalizing churches and communities.

A passionate advocate for marginalized populations, Archbishop Volentine was instrumental in establishing the Kairos Prison Ministry in Louisiana, ministering for 12 years at Winn Correctional Center and other correctional facilities including those in Ruston, Farmerville, Crowley, and Waterproof, LA. His faith in action has brought spiritual healing and moral restoration to countless inmates, offering dignity and hope to some of the most forgotten in society.

His partnership with Grambling Christian Center further reflects his commitment to local outreach and community upliftment in underserved areas.

A Global Ministry of Compassion and Evangelism

Archbishop Volentine’s passion for international service has taken him across continents, always with a heart for both evangelism and humanitarian care:

Nigeria (1993): Participated in church planting efforts that led to the establishment of two new Christian communities.
Kenya (1995 & 1998): Served with Patriarch John Githiga, presenting leadership seminars for pastors and spouses and preaching in Anglican congregations.
Russia (1997 & 1999): Carried out significant ministry in Yekaterinburg, including televised preaching in Russia’s largest prison, ministering in a women’s prison, and leading seminars on the Holy Spirit—bringing messages of healing and empowerment to the oppressed.
India (1998 & 2000): Ministered in leper colonies, conducted street evangelism, and brought aid and encouragement to remote jungle mountain churches, reflecting a deep commitment to compassionate outreach in difficult-to-reach places.

Ongoing Mission as an International Humanitarian Leader

Following his elevation to Archbishop Metropolitan in 2010 within the All Nations Anglican Church, Archbishop Volentine has continued to bring Gospel-centered humanitarian outreach to Africa, India, Europe, South America, and the Caribbean. He has consistently demonstrated the ability to engage culturally diverse communities with sensitivity, wisdom, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

His international reputation is not only based on his theological depth or his ecclesiastical standing but on his lifelong dedication to healing, reconciliation, and practical service. Whether addressing spiritual hunger or physical need, Archbishop Doyle Volentine represents the kind of leadership that sees the Church as a global mission agency—uniting faith with mercy, and doctrine with love in action.
