Pastor Pete Samra is also an evangelist with a heart for the Nations. Whilst based in Arizona Pete has a focus on his homeland of South Africa.
He has a business degree and ran and operated a well known international vitamin company for many years. Pete, at one time, was the manager of the world famous “Gold’s Gym” in Santa Monica and appeared in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s movie “Pumping Iron.”
He studied Naturopathy and was the winner of the 1980 Natural USA Bodybuilding Championships as well as the 1980 Mid-America Natural Bodybuilding Championships. Pete was inducted into two Natural Bodybuilding Halls of Fame for his crusade against steroids.
He founded the Christian Bodybuilding Association and headed the Samra Anti-Drug Team. The team consisted of Natural Bodybuilders, who visited schools with an anti-drug message. He developed the world famous R.E.S.T. system of training and has trained many bodybuilding champions. He published “Power Magazine,” a Christian bodybuilding magazine.

- Get Involved in the Political Process of the Nation
Today Samra Ministries has helped to build more than 30% of the 110 churches given in the vision. Pete has seen hundreds of pastors trained with a plan to see thousands more. They have seen thousands of people receive Jesus Christ. It is the vision of the ministry to see at least two million souls saved around the world.
